Your dive life on a 3D globe

SharkPoint globe with dive pins and a site panel

See where you’ve been

Pins and photos on the places you actually dove — your sites and catalog places you use. Buddies are also welcome, not a social map of strangers.

Same world as your log

Logged dives, planned Horizon sites and trip places live in one globe view — so your dive life stays together instead of scattered across folders and notes.

Dive sites that stick — yours and the catalog

Dive sites list in the SharkPoint logbook

What the catalog is

Your own sites plus a large catalog of thousands of dive locations — not every reef on Earth. Add places you dive; the catalog helps you start.

Logged places share the same private 3D globe as Horizon plans and trip stories. Thousands of dive locations in our catalog, plus every site you save. The catalog is not a PADI/SSI official list, not a deco planner, and not a booking tool.

How it fits your log

  • Your own sites for places you actually dive
  • Thousands of dive locations in our catalog
  • Growing open catalog seed (not a “powered by” hero claim)
  • Same globe as Horizon planning and private trip stories
  • Not a deco planner, agency site list, or booking tool

Explore dive sites

Find dive centres next to your sites

Dive centres list in the SharkPoint logbook

Search dive centres in the logbook, see who is near a site, and link a centre to a dive. Schools don’t pay. Not a booking tool.

How dive centres work

Dive centres nearby a site on the globe

Near a site on the globe

When you open a site, nearby centres show in the same private globe view — add one to your log, then attach it to the dive.

Horizon — plan sites before you fly

Horizon planning with trips and sites

Look ahead in the same globe world

Most logbooks stop at “log after the dive.” Horizon is for planning sites before you travel: pick places you’ll dive, see them on your globe next to dives you’ve already logged, then turn the plan into a trip story when you go.

Free includes 1 Horizon site. Point unlocks full Horizon — one of the clearest reasons to upgrade if you travel for diving. Horizon is not a deco planner, gas blender, or tissue model. It is geographic and trip planning on the globe you already use for logging.

  • Pick sites you’ll dive before you leave
  • See planned places on the same globe as logged dives
  • Free: 1 Horizon site · Point: full Horizon
  • Explicitly not a deco / gas / tissue planner

How Horizon works

Your dive trip as a private travel story on the globe

SharkPoint trip dossier for Egypt 2001

One private travel story

In SharkPoint a trip is one private dossier for the journey you lived: places, dives, media and a globe trail — instead of notes scattered across chats and folders. You can share that story with buddies, friends and family you invite. Other tools may use “trips” for resort schedules, prep checklists or school/boat operations.

  • One private travel story for the whole dive trip
  • Places, dives and media on the globe
  • Share with buddies, friends and family you invite
  • Not a folder of logs. Not a school CRM. Not a public feed

How Trips work

Opening a dive from a SharkPoint trip dossier

Open a dive from the trip

Tap a day and you’re in the dive: site, map and photos stay in the same story — no hunting through chats and camera rolls.

Buddies you choose — not a follow feed

Buddy list in the SharkPoint logbook

Private links, not a follow feed

Private buddy links; share when you want. Storycard / reel: you share, we post nothing — no GPS on what you share. Free: 1 buddy link. Point: full buddy links.

Groups give clubs and courses a private space. From here you communicate easily and share information with each other.

How Groups work

Private group dossier for a dive club

A private or public club room, your choice

Members you invite, discussions you keep together. A perfect place to share your scuba experiences together.
