For dive centres, clubs and instructors
Your divers, one logbook, every trip.
Free for dive centres, clubs and instructors. Share one link or QR code. Your divers join your group and keep their dives on their own globe.
- Free for dive centres, clubs and instructors
- Hosted in the EU
- No names shared, totals only
- We never email your divers
How it works
Every screen below is the real app.
-
Step 1
Create your group.
We set up a SharkPoint group with your name. You get a join link (
sharkpoint.app/j/…) and a QR code. -
Join page with a sample group name.
Step 2
Share it your way.
Put the QR code at the briefing board, in your course pack or on the boat. Divers scan it and join in one tap.
-
Step 3
Your divers log, and you see what they share.
Group trips, group chat and trip pages your guests can show friends and family.
One link or QR code for the whole boat or course.
No sign-up lists, no typing email addresses. Everyone who scans the same code joins the same group, whether it’s a liveaboard week, a course or a club trip.
What you see, and what you don’t
You see
- What divers choose to share with the group: group trips, posts and discussions.
- Totals for your partner code, once at least 5 divers have joined.
You don’t see
- Names behind your partner code totals.
- Their private logbook, notes or GPS positions.
- Personal totals, unless a member turns them on. They’re off by default.
What you and your divers get
A free group
With your own join link and QR code.
Trip pages
For group trips, for example one per liveaboard week or club trip.
A free logbook
On Windows, Android and the web. iOS isn’t available yet.
Their dives, their globe
Import from a dive computer file, trips and Horizon trip planning. Export to UDDF, UDCF, Subsurface XML and JSON.
Point is optional. Divers who want it pay for it themselves, never you.
FAQ
What does it cost?
Nothing. SharkPoint is free for partners. Divers can use the free logbook or choose Point, which they pay for themselves.
Do we have to change how we log course dives?
No. Divers keep their own logbook in SharkPoint. They can print it as a PDF: a personal overview of their logged dives. It’s not an official record; whether you accept it for courses is up to you.
Is it an official PADI/SSI logbook?
No. SharkPoint is an independent logbook and isn’t affiliated with any training agency.
Can we use our logo?
Only if you want to. We put your name or logo on the group only with your written permission.
Is it a dive computer or a dive planner?
No. SharkPoint logs and shows your dives. Horizon gives an indication of conditions, not safety advice, and doesn’t replace your dive computer, your training or your dive briefing.
Who can join?
Divers aged 16 and over for now.
Where is the data hosted?
SharkPoint is hosted in the EU. See our Privacy policy.
Do you email our members?
No. You share the link or QR code yourself; we don’t send emails to people who haven’t signed up.
Can we stop?
Yes, any time. Your divers keep their own logbook and export.
